MAINTENANCE OF THE WINDOWS AND DOORS

Your plastic windows require almost no maintenance. For all that, it is necessary to keep the following instructions.

After installation and following bricklayer's works, it is necessary to clean the fittings and condensation gutters in the bottom part of the frame. The customer should remove the scraps of the window protection foil carefully within a month upon the installation at the latest. The plaster waste is to be removed very carefully, never in the dry way but always with much water with a little portion of a liquid cleaning product. Only usual cleaning products with low aggressivity are to be applied!!!

A good window is more than just a hole for ventilation and heat keeping; it is a decorative element and a constructional part, which has to comply with high technical demands.

Basic information for using the door panels:

• The protective foil which is stacked on the whole surface, is to be removed immediately after the door installation, nevertheless not later than within a month.
• The door panels are to be installed in a sufficient distance from heating bodies, heat radiators and open fire. It is necessary to avoid any sharp or hard things to affect the panel.
• With normal using, it is sufficient to clean the panel with a cleaning cloth or sponge and a usual cleaning product. No organic solvents or abrasive cleaning products may be used for cleaning, otherwise the panel surface can be damaged irrevocably without any possibility to recognize the complaint.
• The accessories (fittings, glasses and handles) are to be maintained with usual cleaning products suitable for the used material.

If you choose a glazed door panel, it is needful to explain the glazing possibilities:

• The door panels are always glazed with a double glass as to your choice. You can state if you want to have a transparent (see-through) or a translucent glazing, if you like the inter-glass grilles or if you prefer special decorative glasses.
• The maintenance and cleaning of a standard glazing is normal and same as window cleaning, thus with usual cleaning products for this purpose.

Care of lead glazing:

• Do not use any cleaning products with spirit!
• Clean just with a fine cloth dipped into water with soap and dry immediately with soft cloth!
• Watch the mechanical damage! The lead strip is glazed and it losses its stability in color, when mechanically damaged!
